Coach Doug
For 30 years, Coach Sheridan has been part of player development ranging from 8 and Under to the NAHL. Doug has been involved with elite programs as an owner, coach, scout and director over his post playing career. Combining his passion for the game and attention to detail allows players to thrive and have continued success at all levels. Coach Sheridan has advised and assisted over 50 athletes move on to Junior and College hockey from the youth programs he has been involved with.
Coach Riese
Originally from Colorado, Riese played for youth teams in the area before playing AAA in California. After a career altering injury while playing Juniors, Riese began his coaching career with the Colorado Rampage in the Tier 1 Elite League. For 7 years, Riese helped develop players and goaltenders from 12U-18U AAA to NAHL/USHL and NCAA levels. Recently working with Resurrection Christian High School, Coach Riese has further pursued his passion to help players and families by joining The Moose.

Tom Ignatovich

Coach Tom
Hailing from Israel, Tom grew up playing hockey in Seattle, WA until he was 15 years old. Tom played for various AAA and Junior hockey teams before representing Israel at the IIHF 18U and 20U DIII World Championships. Tom helped his 20U team win a gold medal in 2018 as well as a DII Promotion. Tom attended Salem State playing for their NCAA DIII Men's program before transferring to CSU to complete his degree. Tom is excited to join The Moose, bringing his focus of developing respectful young men first, and good hockey players second.

Erich Jaeger

Coach Erich
As the Director of Skills for the Moose, Erich Jaeger brings a wealth of experience and a passion for player development to the rink. From the picturesque landscapes of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Erich fell in love with the game at a young age, carving out a path that would lead him to both collegiate and junior success.
Erich honed his skills at the highest levels of competition, playing Division 1 hockey for the Air Force Academy. It was here that he left an indelible mark, contributing to consecutive Atlantic Hockey titles in 2014 and 2015 with two elite eight appearances. His dedication, work ethic, and leadership were instrumental in his team's triumphs, setting the stage for his transition to coaching.
Prior to his collegiate career, Erich showcased his talent in the fast-paced environment of junior hockey, spending two seasons playing for the Wichita Falls Wildcats in the North American Hockey League. This experience provided him with invaluable insights into the nuances of the game and reinforced his commitment to excellence.
As a coach, Erich is driven by a profound desire to not only cultivate exceptional athletes but also to nurture well-rounded individuals. His coaching philosophy revolves around fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment where players can thrive both on and off the ice. Whether it's refining skating techniques, honing stickhandling skills, or instilling the importance of teamwork, Erich is dedicated to empowering his players to reach their full potential.
Beyond the Xs and Os, Erich is renowned for his mentorship, instilling discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship in those under his guidance. His ability to forge meaningful connections with his players transcends the confines of the rink, leaving a lasting impact that extends far beyond the game itself.
Justin Howard

Coach Justin
Justin grew up playing hockey along the Front Range with his roots beginning in competitive roller hockey.
From there he transitioned to ice hockey where he competed competitively through high-school. His journey led him to play college hockey where he played 3 years at the University of Northern Colorado, Division II ACHA.
Justin’s efforts then transitioned to coaching, where he has enjoyed giving back and passing on his knowledge of the game for the last 13+ years. He has coached in the team setting as well as individually, with a focus particularly on power skating. Justin lives in Northern Colorado with his wife Shay, daughter Sutton and 2 dogs, Winston & Bauer.

Coach Moyer is a product of one of the nations top academy / prep development program in Coeur d'Alene Idaho where he learned the value of hard work and a dedication to the game that is the mission of Moose Hockey. He brings the knowledge he will share with our young players to help them set expectations for their success along what it takes to be involved in major junior hockey.

Austin Azzinnaro

Coach Azzi brings a wealth of experience from his playing experience in the NAHL to his collegiate play. He has the drive that young players need to find that will help get them to their desired level of play. Overcoming adversity is a big part of the game and coaches like Azzi understanding of the process can provide the insight to help our players. Moose Hockey is fortunate to have a coach with this type of character.
